Kim Clark - "Mimi" to her 11 grandkids. A teacher first, an engineer before that.
Mimi has been teaching math for over 30 years - in the Czech Republic, the Philippines, and the US, in 1:1 and classroom settings. Before teaching, she worked as a software engineer - so she knows exactly where math shows up in the real world, and how to explain it to someone who doesn't think of themselves as a "math person."
She works best with high school students: the years where math gets serious, grades start to count, and the SAT looms. Her approach is patient, direct, and built around the student in front of her - whether that's one-on-one or in a small class.
